How to Reach Devkund Waterfall

Devkund is about 130 km from Mumbai and 100 km from Pune.
From Mumbai: From Khopoli railway station, take a bus to Pali, and from Pali, take another bus to Bhira. Buses are limited, so plan accordingly. If you’re driving, use Google Maps for accurate directions.
Once you reach Bhira village, your trek to the waterfall begins.

Parking and Accommodation

Parking fees are Rs. 30 for bikes and approx. Rs. 100 for cars. Near the parking area, you’ll find small cottages and hotels for an overnight stay. Entry to the waterfall costs Rs. 100, and you can enter until 3 PM only. Entry after 3pm is not allowed.

The Trek Journey

The trek to Devkund Waterfall starts from the base village, Bhira and is suitable for beginners. The trek is about 5 kilometers long and takes approximately 1.5 hours. It passes through a dense forest, with many small and big water streams and waterfalls to cross. Along the way, you will walk beside Bhira Dam backwaters, which offers mesmerizing and breathtaking views.
Devkund Waterfall’s water comes from the Tamhini Ghat, flows into Bhira Dam, and further forms the Kundalika River. After trekking for about 30-40 minutes, you will reach an upland with stunning views of mountains and small waterfalls. A few minutes further, you will see the Kundalika River, which you will need to cross using a bridge. After crossing the bridge, there is a small patch of climbing and descending before you finally reach the breathtaking Devkund Waterfall.
